We aim to live out our vision:

Pride through Achievement

Our mission is to ensure that every child, irrespective of background, faith or nationality, can take great pride in their hard-earned achievements here at school. We teach children to set themselves the highest standards, have confidence in their abilities and to know when they need resilience to meet a challenge. Through these high expectations, Oldfield children are “ready to take their place in the world.”

Our recent OFSTED report states that Oldfield Primary school “brings out the best in all pupils.” School performance tables consistently show exceptional levels of progress, compared to children nationally.

As well as the outstanding progress children make in English and Maths, Oldfield’s curriculum delivers a balanced and enriched education. Teachers are committed to providing ‘hands-on opportunities’ that allow learning to be memorable, challenging and enjoyable. Our extensive grounds and nature trail provide an 'Oasis of Learning' within a busy urban environment.

Oldfield is a school where children flourish academically, personally and through sports. Expectations for achievement in these three areas are high.

Our School is representative of the multicultural community in Greenford and we celebrate this diversity through our curriculum and school events such as International Evening. Parent voice is also strong: Parent Representatives help to shape important policies such as Relationship, Health and Reproduction, and others enthusiastically partner through the Friends of Oldfield Association .

If you are thinking of sending your child to Oldfield and would like a tour by myself or the Deputy, then please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
